If you see the “lightning bolt” icon at a component in your Inventor assembly browser, you have set it to a “Manual solve” method. Design Accelerator components (generators) can be set to Automatic solve, Manual solve or Solve off. Right click on the component and in the Component menu set the desired solver method.
